I was 70 pounds heavier, working the same kind of job you have.
Hi, I'm Laura. I lost it over eighteen months with NO meal plans, NO crash diets, NO medication.
That was 3 years ago and it's still off.
My story
I was overweight for as long as I can remember. Not "wanted to lose ten pounds" overweight BUT seventy, with a full-time desk job and no real idea where to start.
So I tried what everyone tries
What finally worked added something. I started lifting, and I learned to track my food, not forever, but long enough to understand what I was actually eating. As I got stronger, I got to eat more.
Seventy pounds over eighteen months, with the 9-5 the whole way. No medication, no surgery, no meal plan, no six-week challenge.
That was three years ago,
and it's still off.
Losing weight is hard. Keeping it is where almost everyone comes undone including the version of me that tried the first four things is harder.
Why I do this
“How did you do it?”
Every single time. It's always the first question.
For a while I just answered it. But I kept thinking about how long it had taken me to figure this out on my own, and how much of that time I'd wasted on things that were never going to work.
So I got certified. I wanted to be able to help people with more knowledge than I had when I was doing it myself. Not just tell them what worked for me, but understand why it worked, and how to adapt it for someone whose body and life aren't mine.
What I'm actually trying to do
Get you strong enough, and skilled enough with food, that you don't need me anymore.
What I believe
Meal plans don't work
They teach you nothing and break the first time life does. You'll learn to feed yourself instead.
Slow is the only version that holds
It took me eighteen months. Thirty pounds in eight weeks is just your next restart.
Strength before size
Lifting gives you something to win at every week that isn't the scale and it's why the result stays.
Tracking is temporary
You track to learn to estimate, then you stop. Anyone who says it's for life has never actually finished.
You don't have to be perfect
Vacations, holidays, and bad weeks are part of the plan, not exceptions to it. Mindful, not perfect, that's the whole thing.
How I coach food
Most people fail because they start at the hardest level. Full macros on day one, quit by day nine. You start on the rung that fits your life right now.
RUNG ONE
Plate
Protein first, no app, no numbers. A repeatable way to build a meal.
RUNG TWO
Protein
One number to track. Ignore everything else the app shows you.
RUNG THREE
Macros
Full flexibility, nothing off limits and a plan to eventually stop.

Frequently Asked Questions
Learn How it Works!
What's included in the coaching program?
You’ll get personalized workout programming, nutrition guidance tailored to your goals, weekly check-ins, direct support via chat, and ongoing education around fitness, food, and mindset. Everything is designed to help you create sustainable habits that last.
Will I get a meal plan?
Instead of strict meal plans, I provide flexible nutrition coaching. You’ll learn how to build balanced meals, track your intake (if needed), and make food choices that work for your goals and lifestyle, no restrictions or “off-limits” foods.
How do I get started?
You’ll fill out a quick intake form, schedule a consultation call, and once we’re aligned, I’ll set up your program and onboarding information. Everything is simple, supportive, and designed to get you moving forward fast.
How is this program different from everything else I’ve tried?
This program isn’t about quick fixes, restrictive meal plans, or pushing your body to exhaustion. It’s about creating a sustainable lifestyle, one that works with your body, not against it. You’ll get personalized guidance, real support, and a focus on long-term results that last beyond our time together. I’ve lived this journey myself, and I coach with empathy, strategy, and zero judgment.
Do I need access to a gym?
No! I can build your plan around what you have access to, whether that’s a gym, home equipment, or just bodyweight. Your program will be customized to fit your lifestyle and preferences.
What happens if I fall off track?
Falling off track is part of the process, not the end of it. Life happens, and one slip doesn’t undo your progress. My coaching is built around real-life flexibility, not perfection. When things get off course, we look at what happened without judgment, make adjustments, and keep moving forward together. You’ll have my support, accountability, and tools to bounce back stronger because long-term success is built on consistency, not all-or-nothing thinking.
